Well that's bizarre.

I have registered to vote (to stay in) as on the passport issue I feel justified in voting.

I got Nigel Farage too!

I received my voter registration documents from Northamptonshire today.

Just so I'm ready for the referendum. Happy days.

So the date is set- 23rd June.

I wonder if the result is to leave the Scots could justify another "leave the uk" referendum, as the goalposts have moved so much?

I'd best register...

Unquestionable outcome,if it's a case of Scotland being non-EU. There is already talk of a two question referendum in Scotland.

However, even if the UK votes leave, it's unlikely that the UK will actually leave. Crisis talks will ensue, further concessions will be made (subject to long term retraction no doubt) and the UK will re-consider its position.

Thursday June 23rd!

I broke into a celebratory rendition of 'Jerusalem'!

I have my voter registration documents to mail back to Kettering, Northants. We were registered there in 2005 so we're within the 15 year rule.

Cant vote so don't give a crap.
Sounds like 2 x used car sales people telling you to vote IN or OUT. Both have their own spin on why you should vote for them but has anyone produced an unbiased plain to read English synopsis of what the implications, pros/cons are of each side?
Id like to read one just for interest to get an understanding of why the referendum is being held.

Yeah I'd be quite keen to see an unbiased break down. I'm pretty sure I already know the way I'll vote but would like to see a summary of implications for both sides.

Re: EU Referendum

From my armchair

On the basis its a 'leave the EU' vote outcome, it has to be tossed waffled around in Parliament then go through the house of lords for its blessing... the Queen signs off

12 months from 23 June, soonest date will be mid 2017. Cameron's pre-election promise finalized - Cameron resigns, a new election takes place

Don't worry though, cos my thought on this is that the British public will vote to stay in the EU.

Remember the recent Scottish independence vote
