It worked quite well for me as the only place to get lunch on this business park is a Timmy's. I quickly ran over and took advantage of there being no people in the que.

You poor bastard. I feel for you.

I find that amusing....

We had a 5 something a week or so ago, nobody would ever think of evacuating after such a small one.

I find this amusing. After evacuation means something rather different to an x-ray tech

It all depends how scared you are

Bloody hell. Just had a small earthquake in Toronto. I assumed at first it was the effect of the earlier pints but not so. Bit scary on the 18th floor and glad I am not in the 57 storey building next-door....

Didn't feel a thing.
Could being in BC have anything to do with that?

Have experienced quite a few over here though and they do give you a bit of a shake, so to speak. :)

Yeah, but people are not used to them. We get an earthquake on average once every five days. They are generally too small to be felt. The last 5+ was nearly 70 years ago. I've since talked with people who work in the large, often quite tall, office blocks in Ottineau. It's quite obvious that nobody had a clue what to do.
