earthquake in Ontario/ Quebec...

Bloody hell. Just had a small earthquake in Toronto. I assumed at first it was the effect of the earlier pints but not so. Bit scary on the 18th floor and glad I am not in the 57 storey building next-door....

Big debate here, "did ya feel that?", "did you wobble?". I did not but I blame the G20.

IS that what that was? Wasnt much out here, but something weird happened about ten minutes ago...sort of a percussive wave like when they are blasting at the quarry half a mile away.

CBC say it was felt in the GTA, Ottawa & Montreal. No damage reported so far.

Does that include damage to underwear? I've experienced earthquakes. Nothing that made things shake like that, though.

I won't try to pretend that I wasn't a tad alarmed.

Quite. Do you want to phone CNN with the news, or shall I?

Bet you wish your wife hadn't knocked that supporting wall down now...

Seriously though, have they said where it was centred yet?

Well Flederman said he felt a little jolt and the light started swinging. I was in the kitchen at the kitchen sink and noticed 'something odd'.

With that and the storm and tornado watch for today I'm off to break out the Bombay.

I blame this G8 business
