I think you can make the comments all you want but you should also expect them to be challenged by any who want to. It is the internet, and as long nothing borders on racism etc etc then it's fair game.
Generally I have found that people such as that lack self awareness and have an inability to empathise. I know it makes no difference, that you will never change their mindset, but I do love a food challenge!

For the most part I like everyone, and can disagree quite happily with most people. I can think of only one person, thankfully left behind in the UK, who used to elicit the kind of comment I made above, the kind of racist, immigrant hating, nhs bashing, UKIP voter etc etc. I could cheerfully do without those views. He wasn't liked by anyone but lacked the insight to see that so carried on regardless.
