James - are they in a pink case? If so, they're mine! I was convinced I'd lost them at the station so good to hear you have them - you can't have been so bad in the end!

We also enjoyed meeting old friends and new. I hope we can do it again before we leave for the summer in a couple of months.

Thanks everyone for a fun evening.

My defining memory was the Canadian women repetitively complaining about me calling her George Lucas' daughter and banging on about horses being born in stables. When I pointed out Jesus was born in a stable it did little to defuse the situation......

The nationality debate about Mr Lees being welsh was rather inconclusive.........

Happy to confirm TiryTory is definitely welsh and also that Zoe Bell and Ben Bell were in the same place at the same time.

It was indeed a fun evening. It is always interesting to put the faces to the names.

That's was mad. I can't believe I met people who lived in the same village as us back home although Mr Lees seemed to be disowning his heritage:sneaky: hmph!

Please tell R. that I was pleased to get to know him better during the smoke breaks. I understand more about his reluctance to be among loads-a-people.

Consider him told.

As I said earlier at these events you can never spend enough time talking to others without feeling that you are neglecting someone.

Lovely friendly atmosphere last night. Our Saturday was almost disastrous, saved by the AGO, but otherwise rubbish. Now two glasses in to 750ml of Chardonnay.

:( sorry to hear that Bats. What happened?

Was nice to meet up with you all last night. Had a crappy day at work and was very nice to drink with people who didn't want to talk shop.

Let's do it again soon and hope that others can join too

Crap breakfast at a recommended place, lost something expensive resulting in 4 hours without hearing and backtracking to try and find it, DVP closed so traffic FUed. Still I had fun driving in traffic and unable to hear Batsman grumbling.

Yes, again soon. I must go to St Lawrence Market again soon and meet up with the Canadian Woman so maybe combining?

Nope, insurance claim, hopefully. I think I am insured but my thoughts and reality don't often coincide.

Thanks for the hopes? Sorry we missed meeting Ben
