Thank you both.

In answer to Liz's question above, at our house the line between animal and human is quite blurred, if one is going to risk one's life to save a non-verbal low functioning autistic person, why not do so for the cat, dog, horse or even the chickens? I draw the line at raccoons, no point in saving them from fire today in order to shoot them tonight.
