I had some hot cross buns last year. They had painted on the cross with some goop and had some green and red stuff in them instead of currants. They were disgusting and I was quite disappointed.

Forgot about hot cross buns ! That'll be me looking for those this afternoon !

Tell us the joke then so I can try it in case there is a pretty girl behind the counter when I find them.

I wasn't actually going to tell it but I was asked. Anyway the girl behind counter thinks its funny or she's got a bad memory as she laughs every year I tell it.

Talking about Easter related jokes, as it's also April fools on Monday, we can all send our kids out to find the eggs we didn't hide

This morning on the local CBC morning programme, there was a debate as to whether Seal Flipper should be regarded as meat or fish for the purpose of religious observance.

One of the joys of having no religious affiliation whatsover is the unrestricted freedom to eat anything on any holiday. I think it might be ham tomorrow but who knows.

I'm very surprised - a lot of people I knew in the UK followed it.

I just asked the guy at work sat next to me and he said he does it every year and the queue at Jeff Purvey's fish & chip place will be a mile long.
