Do you eat meat On Good Friday?
When I was younger it was always a chippy with fish & chips. Pretty much followed that on through my adult life - more out of tradition than for religious reasons.

I remember we'd go round my nans (mainly to pick any Easter eggs she'd bought me) and she'd always have got in a pint of cockles from Fred the fishmonger but I don't remember if we had any meat or not.

I do, for religious reasons - in fact it's ALL meat and any goodies of any sort really (well any that I haven't already given up for Lent).

Your missing the option where good friday is a nice day off and I'll just eat what I fancy without thinking about it.

Are you meant to leave nibbles out for the Easter Bunny or is that only for Father Christmas?

Which religion does not permit the consumption of red meat on Good Friday, when compared to any other day?

I do like a nice easter egg. I remember when they came with a free mug which was great; I had a nice whispa mug for years. Although I bet if you could get them now they'd only last 5 minutes because they don't make things like they used to.

Any Friday used to be fish when I was growing up. Since moving to Canada I have found we have lost all traditions, for us its just a long weekend to get some diy done. DD and DH do have an chocolate egg to eat each, not even doing a special meal this year.
