ok this anonymity issue is now settled in my mind
but there is no mention that i can see of what to expect once the trial is over

Mike, if you don't want to read the whole thread, I would suggest you just read the last page. Hopefully it will clear up some of the reasons why a victim of sexual assault might want to retain their anonymity. I think what I've written in those posts is very clear.

I can understand why people would wish to retain their anonymity for all manner of things. Whether it can be justified is a very different issue.
