"This is a great game." "Some great darts." I feel like Helen Keller here.

Nice 110 for the set from Barney.

Always, on tv. I'd love to start playing again but it was easier when the venues were within walking distance. If I tried a bit it would happen for a phone call and bus fare, there's a Scot in the old folks' home near the Serb was in our old league, (a good player and a good guy), said he'd play if I call and the Serb has the boards.

That was a bit scrappy in the end. I expected better than that from barney in the last set.

This is some match also.

Yeah - right down to the wire. Nice bull to win the match.

I like Eric Bristow's analysis. "When the Aussie gets down he folds like deck of cards."

Although he looks pretty good at the moment.

That last set was a bit shitty, but the aussie just about took it. White must be cursing that missed D20.

So you two must have a good sense of the 170 finish chart from watching match play if not from bar darts then; exit strategy is a big part of the game. I used to know it but I'd have to have one on the wall for a bit now I think.

There was a 170 checkout last match.

To answer your question, I rarely have to count down from more than about four. :(

I prefer cricket as it gets pretty fun.

There are a few variations, the one we liked best was Killer, but when I was new and playing with Newfies there was a Newfoundland Rotation, (variant of Chase), that was a lot of fun. Miss one number, I think it was the 7, and you had to start over..

My expertise really lies in watching darts on the telly rather than any prowess in the actual game. :)

My games always end up on double 1 after many throws.

I can do that, (and do!), but when you manage to get in the groove and have the concentration happening is when it becomes fun.
And in answer to Oink, much like my proficiency at apres skiing.
