Re: Daily Rant
Just as bad as an incident with my father in law a while ago. He was flying over to the UK and an air steward actually said to him, "Oh my, you look just like Harold Shipman". It was only later when he told me that he found out who Harold Shipman was
He was flying Air Transhat so that level of service is to be expected, i assume.

Thing is, I actually took a pretty close look at your avatar, as it looked a bit like me in my youth (minus the quiff, my hair never looked like that ). Since then I have been compared to Jamie Oliver and John Terry. People who have pointed this out tend to be fans of them and assure me it's a compliment (hmm). Still at least no-one has ever said to me that I look like Ian Brady !!

Re: Daily Rant
Been here six months - haven't bought that much yet, but experience as follows:
Leon's : ok, put themselves out to deliver it the following day, however, the delivery guys were careless and damaged the bed so it had to be replaced, same thing happened next time also. Third time was ok.
Sears : took a watch in for a new battery and re-seal for waterproofing. They had the watch for about 5 months. In the end they only replaced the battery and said they could send it back again if I wanted it re-sealed.
The Bay : were quite good with delivery and negotiating better price for a damaged clearance item.
Service Ontario : about the most efficient service in the place.
Job applications : might as well hit one's head against a brick wall.
Finding a doctor to register with in Ottawa : hopeless.
