ive done some hunting in the restigouche river region of the north shore...ive "heard" from the culture d locals that some ofthe economically challenged acadiens/irish-scots resort to trapping and hunting what they call "lamb"...perchance they supply the loca l sobeys and atlantic superstores with this "lamb"???since when did a lamb have fur, claws, wiskers and a purred when stroked????canada is indeed a very strange place.

Just as well the cat never dragged the meat inside a box, otherwise poor Fled would never know whether she'd had her dinner or not.

She'd have had it and not had it at the same time. Ideal if you're dieting.

Sadly the eldest has followed her Mum into the perverted cult of Vegetarianism so now it's just the little 'un & I...

Blade chops are nice with a few root vegetables, a leek & some Pearl Barley, slow cooked for one or two hours in a stock & a splash of red wine with a little Rosemary..

Now that Marmite on toast I've just made doesn't seem so appealing..
Hear, hear! Go veggie!! Y'just can't trust what bit of the animal you're eating these days...***sholes or eyeballs!
