What is the Canadian equivilant please. Need it for my butternut squash soup recipe.

There is no purchasable canadian equivalent.
Sour cream will do if you cant be arsed to make it.

LOL... I agree. They are not equivalent. Is it really impossible to find creme fraiche in Canada, or just difficult? Whole Foods has it in the US, but none of the other supermarkets I've been to have it.
