We get packs of them where I live in Whitby. Apparently, most of the coyotes in Durham are "coyo-wolves" (as an earlier poster mentioned, although I believe that was in reference to somewhere in Alberta or Saskatchewan), so they can be pretty big.

They can sound a bit eerie when they start making their squeaking noises in packs. I've also seen a couple of individual coyotes strolling down the street - one in broad daylight.

Nice. Haven't done a couple of those so will try them. We're on the sea wall so I'm often lazy and walk along that, maybe popping to the dog parks along it and sometimes to kits dog beach. Spend a lot of time on the father in laws acreage too.
