Looks like the BC Gov't doesn't want a repeat of Halloween tomorrow night, all liquor sales end at 8pm tomorrow night including bars and restaurants.

I feel bad for restaurants though having this sprung on them the day before NYE.

Around me they are at 25% and you would have to be bonkers to be outside, however most of the main areas they are closed. Off sales would be normal but not sure that is relevant.

Some very worried and pissed off callers on LBC today, all mystified why <<<SNIP>>> it is reluctant to shut schools. As one woman said, open schools mean more infections, more infections mean more deaths. It really is that simple - especially with this more contagious strain.

Here is it the shop workers, Supermarkets etc who seem to be the ones most at risk.

"Bad" day for NB. Ten new cases, the highest in a long time and possibly the second highest since day one.

All in Fredericton area, all ages to 80 represented, and thought to be connected.

Sounds like a Christmas get together, maybe.

Former UK PM on the TV this morning suggesting that with a revised strategy, the UK should be able to vaccinate the entire population by Easter. Would be nice.

Saskatchewan stats are about the same as over the past week, I'm imagining a graph with sort of a high plateau.

I just went through the drive-through covid testing site down at the exhibition grounds so now I'm supposed to stay home and watch tv for a couple of days or so until my results show up on the website. Not like I needed an excuse before....

Get your bog paper people, England has gone back into lockdown until mid Feb.
