Re: working class - I'm proud to be working class too. But we had standards of behaviour (decorum) and realised the need for education. Just because we were working class didn't mean we were "dead common."

Just because we were chavs it didn’t mean it was, to coin a phrase, all robbing post offices and stealing cars. A group of us deluded pikeys were often deep in conversation about the vagaries of analytic philosophy. Depending on whether it was darts night or not our corner of our local boozer was affectionately known as either the Jockey Wilson Collective or the Wittgensteinian Café.
