I've heard you can get a heated mouse. Are they any good? Any other solutions that don't involve drinking coffee all day?

Thin glove?
Try this on: a USB warm mouse

Now I know you are interested in your subject area, but enough to get in a mastabatory frenzy over? It's a strange world.

I couldn't let it pass but did try to be creative than that Souvy, he's a wanker.....

Won't the hand movements look a tad suspicious?

I too have a cold mouse hand, and it is often white/blue even when not on the computer, but I have manky circulation anyway.
The other hand is resting on a hot water bottle. When it goes cold I know it is time to come off the computer!!!

try switching which hand you use the mouse now and again

you'll get the hang of it after a while and it will give the other hand a break

also , shoulder massages - from personal experience i know how
the neck and back can effect hands

also forearm massage now and again - all those millions of micro contractions all add up and once you've had your first proper massage of those muscles and hand you'll feel the difference

I could no more get the hang of that than I could writing with my left hand

In my young teens there was something I practiced with my left hand but we won't go there.

But I'm not sure that making my left hand cold instead of the right one would be an improvement.

my point is you could be overdoing things - damage may occur
even though you are not feeling a temperature difference

but if you not interested then thats your issue

I didn't take offence at people assuming I and my doc are unaware of my circulation problems so no offence was intended on my part. However I am feeling a difference. That was why I posted, asking for (non medical) opinions/solutions such as the heated mouse.

I have just discovered while trying to find some for myself, that you can get a whale-shaped one and a pig-shaped one from Amazon for £5.95 free P&P.

It appear that the burger one is discontinued. http://www.gadget4all.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=01091

How about a nice pair of warm fingerless gloves instead. http://gizmodo.com/5363313/stuffed-a...-office-weirdo
