Canadian Christmas party, all poshed up, got the suit ready etc. Big question...

Socks with the Crocs? Yes or no? (Black Crocs with a dinner suit, natch)

As it is such an auspicious occasion, you should defiantly wear socks with the crocs - black to match dinner suit.

I've recently learned that in some peoples eyes brown crocs are acceptable with a black suit. I'm glad that you are upholding standards though. Socks, yes, preferably those grey sports ones that come in bundles of 10 in Wallymart.

It's such a difficult choice. I'd suggest a compromise, one sock (colour immaterial but preferably one which glows in the dark) and one bare foot, perhaps with red nail polish if that's your style.

Festive socks will lighten the sombre effect of the dinner suit and black crocs - it is Christmas after all!

Make sure your bow tie lights up for a chic but light-hearted twist on the James Bond look.
