Graham Taylor: Former England manager dies at the age of 72 - BBC Sport

Anyone have him as one of their picks?. In terms of football, I would have thought Gazza, Kenny Sansom or Jimmy Greaves would have been ahead of Taylor

Yes, C4 News did a piece on her. What an absolutely remarkable woman, and so far ahead of her time. She was the first person to report that WWII was about to begin! Good innings though, 105, well done Clare.

Nope, no one had Graham Taylor. Nor does anyone have Kenny Sansom or Jimmy Greaves. A bunch do have Paul Gascoigne (7).

Just looking at picks quickly, as the deadline is the 15th:

Sharkus - you have Kirk Douglas on your list. He's 100. Not worth any points. Might want to consider changing that.
JGK, Rivingtonpike, and Hurlabrick - you have Kirk Douglas as your joker, your joker must be one of your 5 picks, not a 6th pick. So you three need to pick a new joker!
Novo - you have Michael Grove, I assume that is supposed ot be Michael Gove?

Otherwise everyone looks good. 3 days for anyone else to get their picks in, or update their current picks!

My, but the young Snowdon looks a lot like Andrew. Margaret looked lot like Liz. Easy mistake to make after a few bevvies.

Talking of typo related gaffs, Partially Dishcharged (sic) has Vera Lynn. The rules I set up in Season One of the franchise were (I assume still are?) that points are equal to 100-Age at the Croak. Very will be 100 on March 18th 2017.

Poor choice PD.

I removed her and Kirk Douglas from last year for that very reason. Honestly, you play safe with a couple of 99 years old and what do you get but a big fat zero.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I should read the rules. I'll update my choices. Phil the Greek won't be worth many points either.

Thanks for updating my picks but could you swap Burt Reynolds for Charles Manson please?

I'm convinced that if I remove Phil from my selection, it will seal his imminent death warrant .

I might have to swap the Bieber lad out, if there's still time.
