We boomers are aging rapidly. Overpopulation of celebrity status should keep this and other pages filled.

While there's a large slice of truth in this, what with this being the age of people being famous for being famous (reality TV stars ), Prince was 58 and GM 53. Even Parfitt and Bowie were 68 and 69.

It seems to have been a bad year for those not so old.

Jagger, Richards, Macca, Ringo, Daltrey, Townsend etc....all going strong well into their 70s.

Dead in a plane crash, almost the entire Alexandrov Ensemble (Red Army Choir); other than the Bolshoi Ballet, the most iconic performing artists in Russia.

And today
Liz Smith, Nana from the Royal Family, or Mrs Cropley from the Vicar of Dibley. Aged 95.

I have Ron Wood, I'm shocked that he's still standing.

Oh :(. Sad, although he had a good innings. I loved Watership Down, but I think Plague Dogs marked me more.
