Canadian TV, which channels are the best?
So iplayer is down, we have pretty poor signal it seems when it snows, we're out of town so no cable internet. We're reliant on Canadian tv for some Saturday night entertainment.... Since I can't want The Voice with the kids (no comments needed on my viewing choices)
What can we watch? Is there a channel that does a similar job to the beeb or itv? Light hearted entertainment shows suitable for children and adults?
Since it takes about 5hrs to download 350mb when we do get good enough signal to get iplayer, I feel like I should just try and get on with the tv we can get. We have a Bell package which is the owners own, and she says it's pretty comprehensive...

I wasn't aware that anything other than hockey was broadcast on Saturday nights in Canada

So basically I need to move house and get my internet speed sorted. We have to move out of this one by June, and good internet will be top of my list of priorities!

They are all shit.
Get used to downloading stuff on iplayer in the morning to watch later. Or maybe do a jigsaw or sudoku or something like that instead.

It is only our second Saturday here.... We went skiing today and the kids are besides them tired. We might have to talk instead...oof now there's a thought.

As I said, I'm downloading charlie brooker. He's a bit hit & miss at times, but at least it's a short series that doesn't out stay it's welcome.
