Very nice pictures but...they are huge.

At the risk of sounding like the miserable old fart that I am, could you possibly resize your images to no larger than 800 pixels wide or 600 pixels high before uploading them.

I have a high speed connection and at 1.5 megabytes each each, your pictures took a full minute to download before I was able to see them.

I have taken the liberty of resizing these three (now between 77 and 205 kilobytes each), I hope you don't mind.

This makes your pictures download faster and thus much more viewable to "everyone" and also saves on server space for the site owners.

Steve, you miserable old fart how bout you be my 'cyber re-sizer?' ........ I am a technophobic old fart myself & have no idea how to re-size my photos, plus, I can see them in about 10secs so assumed everyone else could too ....... duh!!

Don't forget I live on Vancouver Island also, so anything that happens in 1 minute is almost warp speed!!

Here are a couple from this week ....... (off to google to look up resizing photos, honest )

2 are Whistler & the other is the view from the Malahat with Mt Baker in the background.

Very nice.

I found this little freebie on the net I haven't tried it but it looks pretty good and has some nice reviews.

Currently enjoying 2 weeks of beautiful sunshine here in Newfoundland. It even reached 30 one day last week - averaging about 25.

i have been in the middle of sask for over a month now and only once did i have to wear a pair of jeans and a jacket!!!some days its been too hot for shorts and t shirt
i have had about 4 days of rain some real heavy with some fantastic thunder/lightening storms but otherwise it has been generally around the 64c(this was 5.30am on the hot days) and has reached on about the mid 90's(usually 2pm).now that was hot.
the weather is absolutely fantastic but i have been warned by just about everyone to prepare myself for the -50c dec/jan.

It's hot hot hot in Kelowna and i don't like it one bit, everytime i drive down the road i nearly end up in an accident, i mean what girl in her right mind would wear such short skimpy clothes when it's a mild 38 degrees.

Yep - hubby was really struggling at work last week while the Stampede was on - I mean, bikini-clad gorgeous fit girls everywhere, skimpy skirts and cowboy boots - he could barely think straight, let alone work properly.

Not that he noticed it much of course - or that's what he told me, anyway but his colleague bubbled him
