I don't think people are that easily slipped into boxes.
I know two people addicted to drugs. One man, needs to smoke weed a few times a day. He grows his own and does so organically. His diet his impecable and he's into jogging - his body is his temple, he's a health nut and he's addicted to (organic) pot. He's in his late 60's and is very youthful. The other is alcoholic but very health conscious in every other respect.

and sterotypes work because a lot of people fit , it's a small minority that are the exception

I am a nearly 40, neurotic, blonde (thank you L'oreal), a bit pudgy though very strong and aerobically fit, large breasted, She-Ra-thighed, short woman with an attitude problem (feminist opinions), a good sense of humour and a very immature yet insightful approach to life. There is no shortage of others who find this attractive. I'm not bragging, I'm just stating my reality. I'm not the stereotype of what's conventionally attractive yet I have never had a problem attracting men whom I like (and lesbians but that's another thread
).

The only thing I learned from that thread was that I am glad I have never been slim, and so never had to put up with attention from arseholes who judge people by appearance and whose love for disappears when skinniness is lost.
Many distasteful and upsetting opinions were displayed. I was glad when the thread was closed and dont thank you for rehashing it

The story so far: Adrian (13 1/4), a typical Torontonian Troll, seeks justification for his appalling life by pissing on everyone else's Timbits.
Despite repeated admonishments to desist, several posters continue to poke nourishment into his cage, some out of naivity, others out of malice and some, such as the aged companion of a young yankee emigrant, out of habit arising from his unkempt intelligence and addiction to Filmores.
In the final episode of the first season, matters deteriorate to the point of imbecility resulting in termimal thread closure.
The new season begins with pretty much the same cast, but a new twist.
On your marks.... Set.....Go!

Hmm. I guess those "British Slappers on Holiday" programmes haven't made it to Canada then. You'll be in for a treat.

Oh Adrian I have a couple of good friends over there at the moment, I will tell them to keep an eye out for you if they have three minutes to spare in the summer.

In keeping with the many stereotypical comments on this thread you cannucks need to stop stuffing your faces with tim hortons / country style & poutine (that gawd awful muck thought of fondly in your parts).
By this time of the year the squirrels have hoarded their winter grub. Winter's coming fast for Canada, the saddest part is that the squirrels only put on their bulk to get through the winter whereas for many Cannucks winter is just an excuse to pack on the fat, sitting on their arses, too lazy to go outdoors because it's cold.

Women's thoughts are easy to understand. They know that men are just like hardwood floors. If they're laid well you can walk all over them!
