Turning right on red is an obvious exception to that idea. Passing on the right is just a terrible way to drive, a classic DWA approach. It's such a joy to be in America where people have more discipline.

FYI - In Quebec passing on the right (or the left lane, middle lane, on the soft shoulder, in reverse, sideways, or through the friggin' trees at the side of the road) is completely legal. Often one sees friendly Quebecois/e drivers passing on the wrong side of the road (highways included). Indeed, driving in La Belle Prov. is similar to the film Death Race 2000 ;).

Nobody wins, especially not folks on here looking for info/advice because of the half that are here in Canada with advice/experience to pass on 70% of them turn BE into a pissing contest, T-shirt berating contest, pic chastising contest, moaning contest, bitching contest, whining contest, just spout utter drivel that belongs on a social network chat room site or a site where people share common interests and want a general chat or just generally looking for an arguement and running their knuckles on the floor, and when these 70% start issues and do sometimes get people having a go back rather than just taking their sh*t they go crying to mommy and play the grow up card.

As a few peeps looking for advice here have said to me they have given up and I dont blame them, I feel sorry for them that this place is populated by so many people that cant just give advice/pass on experience and let others do the same without causing issues.

Im just thankful I dont need this site for advice!

I think it would be fair IMHO that ‘The Maple Leaf’ section is correctly described as “Off-topic chat for all those living in or moving to Canada.” So could be considered a “social network chat room site or a site where people share common interests and want a general chat” Not a place that I would consider a great place for fact based advise, certainly I’d agree with anybody that said this was a great place to get peoples opinions, although many on here would attempt to express these as solid indisputable facts……

I don’t think its fair to say win or lose with opinions..
