It is almost like the provinces actually cooperated and coordinated their traffic acts, who'd a thunk it. :p

Re: Can you imagine anyone doing this in Canada?
FYI - In Quebec passing on the right (or the left lane, middle lane, on the soft shoulder, in reverse, sideways, or through the friggin' trees at the side of the road) is completely legal. Often one sees friendly Quebecois/e drivers passing on the wrong side of the road (highways included). Indeed, driving in La Belle Prov. is similar to the film Death Race 2000 ;).

Turning right on red is an obvious exception to that idea.
Right turn on red is legal in all provinces and territories. http://www.geocities.com/jusjih/traf...ignals.html#ca |

Not sure what you mean here?
Right turn on red is legal in all provinces and territories. http://www.geocities.com/jusjih/traf...ignals.html#ca "Right turn on red light (virage à droite au feu rouge in French) is permitted after stop in all provinces and territories except in the Island of Montreal (île de Montréal in French) in Quebec. Left turn on red light (virage à gauche au feu rouge in French) from a one-way road into a one-way road is permitted after stop except in Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Left turn on red light from a two-way road into a one-way road is permitted after stop in British Columbia only." so, sometimes it's legal, depending. |

So passing on the right is allowed in some provinces but not others. Very good, everybody wins.
As a few peeps looking for advice here have said to me they have given up and I dont blame them, I feel sorry for them that this place is populated by so many people that cant just give advice/pass on experience and let others do the same without causing issues. Im just thankful I dont need this site for advice! |

It would appear that some people here owe Almost Canadian some sort of apology, he and Butch are indeed correct in as far as Alberta goes.
I have pointed this fact out before when the same argument has been raised in the past. Please read 22 (2) |

<...snip!> B: It takes two (or more) to have a pissing match or argument, and you yourself seem to be involved in your fair share of them... |
