Dear lord the material just keeps coming, my quotes in red
I quote (naming no names)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey i plan on coming to canada for one week in june and i was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions that ive not been able to find answers for on the internet
Info:- Im 18years old and i live in scotland. This is my first trip alone
Aww you have fun young chappie!
1)Does my passport need to be older than 6months in order for me to visit (mine has just been renewed)
Immediatly regrets feeling warm and fuzzy for a youth about to venture into the wide world on his own. Dear god
- no they issue passports with a strict instruction - DO NOT USE FOR 6 MONTHS
2)I was told that 18 year olds cannot book/stay in some hotels in canada..is this true?
Common sense would tell me to look on the hotels websites for any restrictions - and stay clear of the ones with naked ladies and red lights outside
The hotel i have picked is the marlborough which is in winnipeg..will i be allowed to book/stay there for one week?
(i cant get through to the hotel on the phone just now so thats why im posting this here)
Definition of hotel - "place where people go and stay - sometimes for as long as a week" Just a quickie - keep trying, i'm sure the job description of the receptionist doesn't specify "ignore all phone calls - indefinately"
And if you have stayed at this hotel before i would appreciate it if you could tell me if you enjoyed your stay and if it was clean
If it was the naked lady hotel probably enjoyable - but check sheets for crustiness
Thanks!

i know that to get a canadian high school diploma you need 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 but what about A-levels?
Does it take a lower number of A-levels(UK Highers) to make up a diploma or does it not...

I've heard they discovered Dinosaurs in Drumheller. Is it allowed to feed the T-Rex?

As I am feeling particularly charitable this morning I will answer your question, seeing as in a former life I lived there and have first hand experience.

Why aren't my UK qualifications recognized in Canada?
Because you are in a different country, idiot!
