Caught up with Jamie today and, yes, he truly is an amazing guy. Me and the two kidlets have been tracking him so knew roughly where to find him today. Took him a ton of food but he had already been taken care of. People were already meeting him an hour on with lunch and someone was meeting him in a motorhome or camper tonight too. He sat in the car with us for some time to take a break from the wind. He should be reaching Canmore in the next day or two if anyone's that way.

Drove past him today on Highway 1 on our way back from Banff. It suddenly twigged who it was just after we passed him, so I didn't get the opportunity to toot the horn and give him the thumbs up. He had some company running with him and they looked like they had a good pace going.

He seems to be milking it a bit.

According to UK press, Jamie was mugged in Banff yesterday and has his bag, along with all his tech, stolen...

Wow. What kind of rude, inconsiderate piece of sh*t would do that to someone trying to make an effort to support the people and cause that saved his own skin, someone trying to give back? I am speechless on this one.

I wonder how his visitor visa worked out!? Did he just overstay the 6 mos or did Former Lancastrian give him an extension?

According to the news and his interview his assailant may have been a jealous drunk with a couple of friends who heard/saw him chatting with some girls in the hall and thought he was after his girlfriend. There has been no mention of video evidence so presumably the hotel isn't monitored; too bad, whoever did this should be charged and tried for the assault.

Monday 3rd Feb he should be hitting Van ... For those that want to run on with him...

Saw Jamie coming down towards Hope off the Coquihalla today, as I was on my way back to Kelowna.

He is pushing his stuff in a 3 wheel baby buggy from what I could see!

Yep - and has been for the past 10 months....gotta carry his crap around somehow.

My hubby was looking out for him as he drove from Kelowna to Victoria today but no sign of him.

I believe he is going to Wreck beach, on Monday 3 feb.
