Default CALLING BAZZZ IN VANCOUVER

Further to our conversation 3 week's ago when you called me a racist just because I said the Uk is being flooded with Immigrants, & our services were bursting at the seem's.

As you sit in VANCOUVER & not the UK, I suggest you read today's Daily Express online. The article by Michael Nicholson titled "Why we Britons are becoming strangers in our own country"

Also read the article in last Friday's Telegraph, entitled "Mass Immigration UK"
Both articles just confirm more or less word for word what I told you 3 week's a go! To which YOU who left the UK for Vancouver claimed I was a racist!!

I told you then, and again now. It's a ludicrous statement to make, I have many friends from all cultures & race. So I suggest you read the above articles, & you can be forgiven for just being a Naive fool, that needs to get a reality check as to what is really happening in the world, instead of seeing it how you would like it to be through "Rose Tinted Glass's"

As I say again I have no objection at all to Immigration. It's not racist to ask that before they enter our country that they at least can speak the language in order for them work & secondly have a skill! Thats not being racist its called having "Common Sense"

UK

Is it racist of me to ask that people know how to use capital letters and apostrophes before they post on this forum? No, it's common sense.

This tickled me in the current issue of Private Eye:

36.8% - Number of skilled migrants government estimates would not pass new English test - equivalent to GCSE C grade or above

47.8% - Number of students in UK who did not pass English at C grade or above

I think your barely legible posting illustrates this delightfully.

Anyway, seeing as this appears to be a personal issue you have with me, you'd better off posting this in The Maple Leaf or sending it to me personally as it's not really what this forum (Immigration) is supposed to be about.

Bazz,

This is not personel at all, it appear's that we just differ in opinion to which my view seems to follow that of The Telegraph & The Daily express.

Ok now to Grammer.

Your grammer may well be better than mine. But there is such a thing called "Re-drafting" I suggest you do that with your second post & you will see that you have missed the word BE out!

Leave it at that, I just wanted to point out that I'm not a racist & recented the fact you called me this on a public forum. after seeing these items in the papers I wanted to highlight to you after what you had said, that the papers tended to follow my views

It befuddles me utterly that you think this somehow justifies your beliefs. Anyone who thinks that citing the Daily Express will reinforce their argument needs their head examining.

Hey Gill,

Yeah good idea, & thanks for the tip. Its worse than extracting teeth He just see's the world through his "Rose Tinted Glasses" maybe he should market them so we could all see what he sees, & basically live in
"Cloud Cuckoo land"

How nice that would be.

Once again thanks for the tip

Many thanks to the mod that moved this (I think). The rest of you might like to use this post as an opportunity to add me to your "Ignore" list. The Torygraph is renowned for the frothing lunacy of its columnists.

LOL! I think you lost the moral high-ground right there...if you ever had it. Relying on the fact that something is in the Express or Telegraph as some sort of moral compass that its not racist is asking for trouble.

That would be "personal" too eh

I was never after the moral highground in the first place. Just stating the obvious situation in the UK. Oh I just noticed you are in Canada!

Personal ( Point taken )

I don't think it's a case of relying on the fact that it's in a particular news media, I think it's more that it likely reflects the feelings of the majority of citizens. Whichever newspaper you prefer, from the Times to the Guardian to the Telegraph - they have all carried such reports. The one point I have to agree with the OP on - it's not racist, it's simply common sense.

As you sit in VANCOUVER & not the UK

I quote the OP. Froth appears to disrespect national boundaries.
