Mandy is not an experienced forum user and is not fully aware of the netiquette.

She feels terrible about this and has apologised personally to those involved.

Please don't flame her for an honest mistake, it may have been better if their username was also not given after the fact.

But it's your username. Had others not made a big deal about it, I would have assumed that it wasn't in any way related to your actual name.

I have just re-read and have realised that in the original post, the actual names were used. This appears to have been remedied by the original poster in the original thread, but was picked up in Piff Poff's use of their quote.
