Another way is to use a MacMini and add these applications
http://tvshowsapp.com/
http://www.boxee.tv/signup
You tell the tvshows app the shows you like to watch and as soon as there available on the the torrent sites it downloads them.
Then you point the boxee app to your downloads folder or external hard drive and the app is your User Interface. It grabs the meta data for the shows and puts them in to folders for you. Also gives you access to iplayer and netflix and many other IPTV providers. Or just try downloading boxee to your PC to use the IPTV services for now.

the cheapest and easiest way is to download using a torrent like iaink said, but I use VLC to play my files....as VLC will play absolutely anything, inc RM files....there are a couple of direct download sites I use too that are invitation only if anyone wants the URL then message me!!!

If you are just downloading them via isohunt/ utorrent its optional. you have full software control of download and upload bit rates, including turning them off.

UK Nova are like The Box and require u give back wot u take.....its good net etiquette to do this....I have set my torrent client to start seeding at midnight and stop seeding once i've given back 1 ratio....

Like many canadian laws it is "a custom more honour'd in the breach than the observance" I suspect.

TheBox will physically ban you if you dont keep certain ratios. UKNOVA arent quite as militant, not in my experience anyway.

I would just rather download from someplace where there are no expectations of any sort.

I don't bother with torrents anymore as I use a vpn and download stuff off iPlayer. I've recently ditched the mac mini under my TV and replaced it with a PC - it's loads better as you can download things directly into windows media centre which works with a remote. I can also finally increase the OS font size so I can actually read what's on the screen without squinting.

Every one's gone technical on me, and I still dont know if the box for 143 quid is any good. See, I like the idea of just plugging something in, its nice and simple.
