British Citizen Test
#4

15 out of 24, and most of those were lucky guesses! Glad I don't have to do it!

Probably just as well I'm going for the Canadian Citizen thing in a year or two (15/24).
Is it me or were some of the questions a bit obscure? I was expecting more about how the country is run, rather than the questions I got.
I wonder how many existing British Citizens would pass

I've seen this of several other forums and I think only a couple of people out of the hundred or so that responded said they passed.
I got 14/24. (Just as well I am Canadian now.)
There must be some sort of booklet that has the answers - a bit like the booklet that CIC give you when you apply for Canadian citizenship.
For anyone applying for Canadian Citizenship, the Canadian test is much easier.

Is this for real? Some of the questions made me cringe e.g. asking % of Muslim's in the UK - why is that relevant to becoming a citizen? Almost like they're trying to counteract negative public opinion. Likewise with the question about largest immigrant groups coming to the UK in the 80's....

Schools open 150 days or 160 days? Who keeps that sort of information in their heads.
