That ad on TV about how eggs for dinner isn't stupid must mean I can have this for breakfast... If there's a chance of going out for lunch tomorrow I'll have to skip breakfast.

Fried tomato
Fried Mushrooms
3 slices fried black pudding
2 slices fried bread

I think you'd like it. I've never had any over here that holds its shape; it always seems to turn to mush whereas in the UK you could slice it, grill it (or fry it) and it stays a slice.

Same taste though. Drool...

Next time I think of it I'll phone Ukrainian Co-op. I suspect black sausage may not be on, but blutwurst has a chance. They look close in pictures.
I've read enough opinions on a few English Breakfast threads here over the years to know it isn't a universal favourite.

Yes, everyone has their favourites and just about every sample plate has something on that a lot of people will do without that others consider a must have. I like baked beans but not as part of a breakfast. Give me grilled or fried tomato...or even a bit of tinned tomato if it's not too liquidy.

But based on your 'plates' I do think you'd like it.

I was going to have bacon and tomato on a bagel, but changed my mind and went with tacos. Beef and onion with guacamole.

If you can get your hands on this stuff, I would. It's a cross between hot sauce and a spicy salsa. But it's so tasty, especially for breakfast. I think it's made in Penticton BC.
