Watrous? The small town cafe in Saskatchewan is iconic (a friend recorded many of them for an art show) and chips would have been universally advertised as French fries, but I still don't believe she isn't making a joke.

You can't see the egg because it was mixed in with the grated potatoes, fried diced bacon and onion and grated cheddar. The blob is 5% sour cream. I thought of having soft-boiled or poached eggs as well, but that would have been too much.

Oh, it doesn't look that good then. I bought eight big bottles of Jim Beam tonight which I'll be having for my breakfast for the foreseeable future as things shut down. :frown:

We had hot cross buns. I only went to the local bakery for a loaf of sour dough, but they were just taking the buns out of the oven and they smelt so delicious (weak I am, weak!)
