I have porridge made with water, and so thick you could cut it with a knife, 4 times a week - it's excellent for helping to reduce LDL :D I have maple syrup on it instead of sugar / cream / milk or whatever... keeps me going for hours! :D |

Re: Breakfast Choices
Marmite Croissants.
We had a ziploc back of mini-croissants in the freezer. Either from one of those large bag of rolls and things which we'd separated or from a clamshell container. I thought they were the sweet ones that when warmed through are so nice with jam or marmalade. I had pineapple marmalade ready yesterday when I put them on plates for me and my stepdaughter who I'd got up extra early for work. "Aren't these cheese" she said on smelling them? Of course they were. It was disappointing though as I'd been looking forward to my 'continental' breakfast. :o So today, I had a couple warmed through and then a little butter and marmite. Lovely. |
