I would refer you to earlier in the thread and Floggers positivity that the ingestion of a certain substance has been scientifically proven to be good for colds. Apparently.

Yes - I have 2 deepening tramlines in my brow that make me look permanently angry (just cos I feel it, doesn't mean I want to look it ). So, when driving down the road last year, the steering wheel turned of its own accord and the car took me into the parking lot outside one of the local places that does it. totally unplanned moment in life.

Took about 5 minutes in total, wee bit stingy as it's happening but otherwise fine and I loved the results! No more glaring at people! It does wear off after a few months, but I have noticed the frown hasn't fully returned to pre-injection extent.
Will I do it again? Absolutely! In fact, will head off to have it done again a few weeks before the wedding.
Will I go on to have other procedures done? Absolutely not. I'm a chicken when it comes to pain and the tramlines were the only thing that bothered me. Kinda like myself the way I am

Has anyone done any liposuction? There's not the same stigma these days.

I do wish we could go back in time, when women could grow old gracefully, mums looked like mums and your nan was all warm and cuddly! The pressure's too much for gals nowadays. I wonder too, although I have no evidence to back my theory, whether botox acts in the same way a plaster cast does when you have it removed after months with a broken limb and your muscles have all withered to nothing because you weren't using them? Say you fell on hard times and couldn't afford to keep up with the top ups, would you end up looking saggy because your muscles had been out of use for months? Just wondered...

I look at pics of all the girls that I grewup / went to school with and the majority of them look schmoking hawt still, tbh I don't seem to remember when I was a kid, any of the mums looking half as nice as the middle aged ladies of today.

I don't think thats a bad thing - I don't want to wear flowery skirts and wear my hair in a bun just because i'm a certain age!

Oh I hear you, I really do. I don't mean you have to let yourself go or wear stuffy old clothes and forget about looking great but gaining a few wrinkles is natural, it's part of growing older. I'm 46 soon and do find myself looking in the mirror and feeling disappointed when another wrinkle shows up but I never forget that I'm lucky to be healthy and happy and smiley. Smiling is great and crows feet are the official stamp of a smiler. Life's too damn short to overly worry about things like wrinkles....I've got plenty else on my plate to fill the worry part of my brain!

I knew I knew the line, but had to google for the reference. What an excellent poem
