I joined the Army at 16, so for me many words are from there:
How's that for starters.
- Stain - A general insult
- Skiddies - Underpants that you have worn for longer than a day
- Skid Lid - Helmet
- Helmet - errr hmmmm part of your old JT
- Grot / minger - someone who doesn't wash frequently
- Gipping - Horrible often about a flavour
- Noshing rods - knife Fork and spoon
- Winnit - Abbreviation for a Whinging Nit - I think this is one of our family words never heard it anywhere else.
- Fandabbiedozey - ARGHHH no not them
How's that for starters.
