PC is on the looney fundamentalist side of any religion isnt it? Rather like the republicans. The liberals are rather more inclusive.


I think the point is that religion here affects political policy in a sort of "US lite" way, whereas UK politics and religion rarely intersect. In the US the republicans are sometimes seen as the political wing of the christian fundamentalists. Its not quite that bad here, but its heading that way a little.
