The correct name for Stella that you are looking for is "Wifebeater"

With Stella being 5.2% and sold in pints, it had a greater effect that the typical 3-3.5% Carling/Heineken/Bud/Skol Larger sold in British pubs.

Wife beater is what they call a vest in Quebec.

Naturally I eschewed the silly coffeee porter for a pint of hawks head drystone stout and a cheese plate. Which, this, not being Canada, didn't cost an arm and leg.

Did you suddenly end up in Australia? Or in your post beer state did an upside down photo seem fine

I assume you have been posting all of your beers to your Untappd feed.

If this beer comes you way in NL give it a try.

It makes me feel like the old git at the bar with his pint of mild when all this new-fangled "lager" came in in the 70s....

"It'll never catch on, this beer tasting like coffee malarkey..."

Tossers! And can't handle the stuff either!

The Lager drinker is certainly more cosmopolitan.

Millstreet Organic, Amsterdam Blonde, Sapparo, Birra Moretti and the odd Peroni.

At Yard Meet Up's it has been known for me to order a fancy Belgian beer with fruit appended to the glass lifting the "profile" of the group.

Creemore is as dark as I go although one IPA I can drink is The Barn Raiser from The Oast House Brewery in Niagara.
