It kind of is since one must be of legal age to sell alcohol but not all cashiers in grocery stores are of legal drinking age.

I don't drink alcohol, that said, if I went into a bar a ordered a drink I would never tip someone for pouring my drink and leaving it on a mat, that is what they are paid to do! It isn't as if I would be permitted to pour it myself....

By the way, if the beer is swill, why drink it, why does anyone drink it?

Never trust non-drinkers.

Personally, I prefer Jamesons to Bushmills in the Irish whiskey department. And yes I know that Bushmills is supposedly the better of the two.

Matter of taste; Jameson's is the best selling whiskey in the world but I started on Bushmills as a wee gunner and still prefer it.

That amazes me- I assumed it would be Johnny Walker or somesuch. But again, international best sellers are usually dominated by whatever is popular in China/ Nigeria/ USA- the big population consumers

When I read that was years ago, but they still claim to be the best selling Irish whiskey. It's a fluid market, I suppose.
