There was a recent article on BBC news where one of the top blokes in charge of the iPlayer service said that there were plans to make the iPlayer available Worldwide, without any localisation restrictions. We can keep our fingers crossed on this.

Haven't you noticed that the BBC video news clips that used to say "Sorry not available in your area" now play, but only after a short commercial advertisement? (Ad's on the beeb... who'd of thought!
)This could be the way the Beeb are looking at making the iPlayer available overseas.... We would have to put up with Ad breaks, but i'm sure it would still be less than the tv over here!
