For those of you who have access there's a new detective drama series showing called LUTHER. IMO, it's one of the best I've seen for quite some time. First series has just begun with hopefully the second series to follow. I'm hoping more will be produced.

That's been on Showcase in Canada. Although I think only one episode - the first?
I caught it by accident and enjoyed it. But I never found a second episode. Then several months on, it was on again and, as far as I could see, no part two.

Idris Elba who plays Luther, won a Golden Globe for it last night. It's very good, watched the first series in the UK and the second here on Showtime last year.

I think it got commissioned for a third? Not sure.
Sherlock Holmes is good too, that has got a third series signed up, as does Downton Abbey.

Closely examine the political and social views of the current Republican nominees for their president and that half the population identify and support those positions, says it all really.

All is says is that half the country is conservative and are forced to chose between one imbecile and another if they want to stick with their particular political party of choice.
If the UK was anything to go by, with your reasoning, we're all a bunch of thick shits who couldn't sort anything out either, looking as how we ended up with Cameron and his useless side kick.
