So what's that got to do with hating American music/movies and other aspects of day to day life in the USA.

It's a BBC production written and directed by Brits, filmed in Britain and the cast is British...what did you find American about it?

Republican candidates this time around are a laughing stock (as, a cynic might say, is usual for the last few decades). What's even sadder is that given their utterly despicable campaign shenanigans, one of them might win.

Oh well, if that happens the stupid bastard voters will have to live with it. Just like the Canadians who elected Harper.

I miss Sarah Palin she'd have been much funnier. On a serious note it's shocking that anyone would consider these jokers and even more shocking that they are simply parroting the cheap and nasty ideology that many Americans hold dear.

Try and catch "Horrible History" on BBC Kids... brilliant show. The "Stupid Deaths" sketches are hilarious!

I don't have BBC Canada. Despite the mortgage size payment we make to Eastlink every month apparently we're still not paying enough!!!

Discovered BBC iplayer though and Netflix and thinking that's the way forward...

In all honesty you aren't missing much if you have BBC Iplayer and Netflix. The channel started around 2001 with lots of promise and has gone steadily downhill....far too much Can Con for a channel supposedly showing the 'best of british'...far too many find a home in the shires shows and far too much of Jeremy Clarkson.
