My first time in this bar... the days are ticking away to the start of the new school term and we haven't had our PR visas in time to enrol the kids in Calgary schools and that means we are pretty much sentenced to another two years in London (as eldest son will be enrolling next week for Sixth Form and A levels and it's pretty much non-transferable as far as I can figure it out) and I know I just have to grit my teeth and gird my loins and etc. to get on with it but we were THIS close.... so can I have a very large glass of Chardonnay please (or Sauvignon or Pinot Grigio... at this stage I'm not fussy just wanting to be anaesthetised).

Thanks Stu, I had to bolt that one down I'm afraid not the way to drink a good whiskey. I've had a few largers but I could do with a little nip before bed if you're still around. Thanks

It is a broad, interesting curriculum suiting most levels of ability. As best, for the most able students, English universities are accrediting it with UCAS points equivalent to 7 A Levels. It is similarly prestigious in Canada.
I know it is last minute, but you can still enrol right up to the start of term, even if you have not already applied.
See www.ibo.org to get a list of schools/colleges in your area that deliver IB

I don't usually frequent the bar, but here I am and drinking alone. At work too...on the night shift!
