Second egg was laid on Friday at Hornby Island.
There is another webcam at Sooner Lake, Oklahoma. This nest has three eggs and the first eaglet hatched on the 21st March. I've just been watching it being feed by one of the parents
The other eggs should hatch soon.

Hello Fushciagirl and other eagle fans ...
Oh, dear ..how addictive is watching these birdies??
We don't live very far away so had a wee driveby the "Sidney" nest today ...it's not really in Sidney, but just north of Patricia Bay on the Saanich Peninsula. From the road the nest looks huge. You could see Maw's (or Paw's!?) head ..all was peaceful and the sun was blazing.
They've got a lovely spot for raising their babies. Fingers crossed for the wee darlins.

Did you look at the Sooner Lake webcam in Oklahoma? It was fascinating watching the mom feed the eaglet - it's so tiny!
We will have to do a "drive by" of the eagle nest at Sidney.

There are loads of bald eagles around Boundary Bay airport (Delta), I counted fourteen in a couple of trees the other week - I didn't realise eagles were that social / gregarious!

Two eaglets have hatched at the Sidney nest in the last few days. The little ones are know as "bobbleheads" as they can't yet hold their heads up properly.

The third eaglet has hatched - the parents will have their work cut out to feed them all!

Fantastic live pictures from a bald eagle nest on Hornby Island, BC. The eagles are expected to lay eggs in the next couple of weeks.
There is even sound!
Hornby Island is just off the coast of Vancouver Island in the Straits of Georgia.
