There was a lot of rain and that caused me to drive slowly which was unfortunate as I had take out Thai food in the car and it's better to get it home properly hot. By the time I got home it was hardly raining though the OH said that it had been as wild as she's seen.

Trust me, its almost enough to put you off. Enjoying a good thunder banger is one thing... seeking shelter in the basement, not so much

There is more footage on the BBC news site, and a picture slide show on the globe and mail. At least one person was killed, somewhat surprising its not more, given the huge area last nights storm cells rolled through, both north and south of the border.

Good. I like the take out from that place better than eating in. Styrofoam seems a less ridiculous serving vessel than half an artfully carved pineapple.

I love storms too, but this was a bit scarier, especially when your at work, your kids are at home alone and your husband is busy driving past Vaughn and Woodbridge (where the touchdowns were) on his way home. This was a killer storm, so saying cool could be misconstrued.

Very much so. That food came from the Seven Stars in Orangeville which isn't usually on my way home but I had to deliver eggs to Georgetown. I think I like the place on the south side of Queen in the Beach better, the one where the Nova fish bar used to be, but the Seven Stars is pretty good.

Just to think had I bought the house in Georgetown i'd considered, you could have delivered eggs to me I will be in the Beach area tomorrow, and may take a look at your suggested Thai.

It's the Thai House at Queen and Wineva. There are a lots of others of varying quality but that's the one we like best. Avoid the ridiculously named Bow Thai.

Note that I also deliver eggs in Mississauga. At least I do when the ex isn't summering in Europe.
