Yes...we flew from Belfast to New Jersey (NY)..and were told as we landed that the airport and TO airport had shut down due to the snow!
It was like something from a Die Hard movie!
All the hotels were full up around the airport so they had to bus us into New York and and put us up in a gorgeous hotel!

They had to put you in a gorgeous hotel..............that must of been awefull for you!

@Miss Clinique - glad you survived it (three sheets to the wind or not).
Canadian storms do seem much harsher than anything I lived through in the UK and though I'm one of those who gets thrilled by thunder and lightning usually, I have been scared thingy-less by a couple of humdingers here out West.
