Yippee, Norwich City back in the championship after todays win. Probably not too many supporters on here but I'm delighted.

Well done Norwich.
But perhaps all real football supporters should spare a thought for lowly Darlington, a team which has a less than stellar past (best ever league finish 15th in the second division in 1925-26), but which is a team which defines the town of Darlington.
They'll be in the Conference next year (not for the first time), but the supporters in Darlington will have patience and confidence that one day they'll win it all.
That's what it's all about prawn-munchers.

Think of this as being a mercy post.

I guess Delia Smith is cooking/baking up a storm. Maybe a chance for her to recover some of her reportedly huge investment in the club. She's already taken some shots at Everton supporters, calling them racist.

As I type Newcastle are 2-0 up against Plymouth in the 83rd minute.
They win the Championship and Argyle go down to League One.
At the start of the match, the Plymouth staff carried a banner on to the pitch saying in white letters on a black background "Congratulations Newcastle United".
That's classy and I'll be hoping that Plymouth can bounce right back up next year.
