Well that's it a draw. North and Clarke played great so hats off to the Aussies. It was still a great match, with lots of banter and some drama to keep us all interested. Bumble seemed back on form and did a nice rendition of Animal of the Muppet song using Manou's name.

Off to Headingly on Friday. Hope to get a result there.

Yep. Fingers crossed and whatever hairs I have left!

We got royaly turned over. Pathetic batting, poor bowling and no spirit. They shold hang their heads in shame.

Said before that Bopara should be dropped, Bell is crap, and I don't think much of Onions. Probably need two spinners at the Oval. Bring in Rampers and Key and tell Cook to get runs or he's off too. I'm spitting mad as we've most likely lost the Ashes. :frown::frown:

Yes- I think if Flintoff plays it could be a shot in the arm but the current side have next to no chance of winning the last test.

They should bring Vaughan and Trescothic in as a one off- both of them capable of producing a big hundred under the cosh.

That's a good idea as well. Without Freddie and KP we have no bite.

Well Trott in at number four and Giles and co's love child Bell bumped up to three. At least the fancy dress should be a good laugh. The Oval test seems to bring out the nutters. :)

Yeah - just a shame I can't bring myself to get excited about the result. Seems too much like a foregone conclusion after the abject performance last Test. :(

What gets me is that a lot of the England team seem really lackadaisical about the game if their Twiter accounts are anything to go by. I would have thought as a centrally contracted professional it would be your job to work on your game at least 8 hours a day. But no, they're playing golf or poncing around their gardens. So, I agree, nothing with this match gives me any hope of a result for England. If it turns magically for Swan or Monty, maybe, but that's hoping for a miracle. Pisses me off no end. :frown:

Twitter's pointless babble. I know that's going to be a shock to some people.

I'm shocked that 60% of tweets aren't pointless babble!

My feelings exactly match Oakvillians - just can't get excited about it after the last performance.
