Just to point out that the very best way to experience that was on BBC4 longwave with Henry and Geoffrey B.

That's what I had on. I started cleaning my house because I couldn't sit still!!! I hadn't cleaned like that since 2005!

More importantly the footy pre season friendlies have started which means the season is only round the corner and we can forget about cricket

We got three more tests and five ODIs and a twenty20 left. But there's football as well.

I'm not surprised you take that attitude, you are a Spurs fan after all.......just concentrate on the cricket to take your mind off another dismal season

I was delighted to discover that 5 Live Sports Extra streams the TMS commentary on the BBC iPlayer outside the UK for domestic Test series. It had that "service not available in your location' thing for the Winter series, but that's because the Beeb didn't own the international web broadcasting rights.

It's looking like Viera on a free and Peter Crouch- Quite depressing.
