So the little nest that was being feathered outside our kitchen window has been plundered, I am assuming by the squawky Magpies that have turned up from nowhere. So I'll not be able to watch them hatch and grow

My stepson has recently rescued a gosling, now named Gilbert, that found running up the A1. I will try an post a picture of Gilbert in the bath for you all tomorrow.

We now have what appears to be a nest on the ground under the deck! It's round, circulation and has slightly raised edges, so it's not grass that has just blown thereà ½Ã¸â€
