Depending on if Trudeau crashes or not, maybe Kevin O'Leary. He was interviewed in a small plane and iirc wouldn't say out loud what he thought of Trump. If you just want the affect, Don Cherry.
I've been wrong about every federal election I tried to predict recently. Trump's claim that he will push Keystone XL through with a much better profit for the US (they'd still have to go through the review and eco assessment again) might price it out of reach of Trans Canada.

With Britain gone nationalist, America gone nationalist, and much of Europe going nationalist, this leads me to wonder. Who's going to be Canada's Donald Trump?
Good points.

Canada seems a beacon of sanity it all this. Trump is the nail in the coffin on the American century, bring on the Asian century - and Canada is well positioned for that.

Well at least one could argue she's a more fit person for her role than he is for his.

We keep hearing that Trump is at least good at business. Yet a few weeks ago I heard some American businessmen saying that many of his ventures have failed.

I don't know if this is what they are talking about but...
According to CNN Money, “no major US company has filed for Chapter 11 (Part of the USA Bankruptcy Code) more than Trump’s casino empire in the last 30 years.”
However, his terrible business operations were not at his own expense. His stockholders took the major damage, suffering massive losses of up to 89% of their investments. Conversely, Donald Trump was making millions during this whole debacle with lucrative salaries and bonuses while his investors were getting destroyed.

It’s not like economic conditions were bad during this time of loss. During this same time period, a stock market index that tracks the success of similar companies (gambling stocks) was excelling. For example, the very similar Harrah’s casino stock soared 150%.
Trump University
Trump University was actually a thing. And yes, it’s as bad as it sounds. Trump University was brought to court in 2013 by the New York Attorney General for billing itself as real estate school and charged students as much as $35,000 without having official accreditation. Essentially, Donald Trump conned aspiring entrepreneurs into taking belligerently over-priced courses.

His entire empire is built on tricking people into believing in his business expertise. The only business success of Donald Trump is stealing from his biggest supporters.
Then there's that not paying income tax for, what was it, 20years? All apparently legitimate because his company lost so much money in one year that it was tax exempt for a couple of decades.

To my untrained eye that really doesn't sound like much of an expertise in running a business, more like running it into the ground.

I concede, though, he must be very good at lining his own pockets.

I found this on a review of newspaper front pages.

Don't look if offended by a rude word.

I nearly fell of my chair.

God, I hope not.

I wish Donald Trump the very best of health for the next four years. At least he should be entertaining and Mike Pence really is a swivel eyed one.

I dislike Trump and was not happy for his win. I didn't like Clinton much, but she was in my view a safer option and less likely to take the country to the extreme.

With the republicans having control now of all 3 levels of government, there really some concern for me as there isn't a whole lot stopping them at this point.

Adding in the fact they will replace some supreme court justices, who knows how conservative they will try and pack the court.

I just hope any liberal justice on the court can hold on until someone better is in office, but they are old, and even if they dont retire they might die of old age.

I would not move back at this point because there is no certainty on what will happen, especially with healthcare, if they repeal the changes made by Obama, I would lose any chance at being insured due to pre-existing conditions, just as before when I lived there making healthcare something not obtainable since I wasn't rich.

I think I'm on fairly safe grounds in thinking that the protesters might not be the ones to have voted for him.

They'd have been better waiting a bit so they could at least have "I told you so" to back up their protest.

Right? He hasn't even got into office and the PC brigade is out protesting over a democratic election? Like it or not, he won..

Agree with Bristol though, obviously those people didn't vote for him, doesn't mean they had a valid case for a "protest" though.

I'm miffed at the anti-Trump campaign thats taken way in US colleges who have banned items such as "Make america great again" hats + tshirts, and basically said you cannot support Trump on campus property.

Its hard to deny his claims that the mainstream media is biased against him, with the exception of Fox et al when you really look at it.
